If you work anywhere for long enough, one day something bad will happen that you won't forget. Every school, hospital, restaurant, department store and boring office has a day that will live in infamy forever. These 20 people took to AskReddit and shared theirs. 

One man experienced his moment less than 24 hours into his first day working for FedEx. "Every truck was supposed to have three people to it," he wrote. "Two people would unload while the third was tasked with checking and marking packages for sorting."

But almost instantly he was left to unload an 18-wheeler by himself. "Last hour of the shift, my supervisor reappears because the truck wasn't being unloaded. I was pinned under 200lbs of furniture."

Fortunately, he survived and was able to claim worker's comp, but needless to say, he did not return to FedEx.
